In 1976, Engr. Provido graduated from Adamson University in Manila, Philippines, earning a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. Six years later, in 1982, he co-founded Century Technical Services Inc. with Dr. Javier. After taking over the company, Engr. Provido led it to new heights, growing the team to over 50 employees.
An ingenious engineer and natural entrepreneur, Engr. Provido is admired by family, colleagues, and clients for his vision and integrity. He is driven by mission-focused engineering, transformation, a commitment to helping others, and personal responsibility for every project. Century Technical Consultants Inc., now known as Century Engineers Inc. (CEI), began its journey in 1982 in Manila, Philippines, under the leadership of Engr. Solomon Provido, a registered Mechanical and Electrical Engineer. Over the years, CEI has steadily built a reputation as one of the country’s most trusted and reliable consulting engineering firms.
In 1992, CEI was accredited by the former National Manpower and Youth Council (NMYC) as a partner in implementing the overseas certification program across various trade areas. CEI also joined the ranks of accredited consulting engineers with the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA), conducting trade testing for government-to-government hiring programs in countries such as Taiwan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. In addition to serving international clients, CEI has also provided services to multinational companies with local subsidiaries.
Today, under the leadership of Ronson Provido, PE, CEI continues to uphold the legacy of integrity, professionalism, and passion established by its founder.
